The Happy Seat is an inflatable bladder that sits under your legs, just forward of your existing seat, lifting your knees and thighs into a more engaged position. That subtle change in leg angle improves your thigh contact and overall boat control, while simultaneously taking pressure off your knees, hips, and tailbone during extended time on the water. Jackson designed the Happy Seat specifically to fit their kayak cockpits, and the included cord and Velcro strap attachment system keeps it securely in place through the demands of river paddling on Canadian whitewater.

The Happy Seat is also the required base component for the Happy Thruster system, making it the starting point for playboaters looking to build toward maximum vertical pop and aerial performance.

As with any cockpit addition, confirm the Happy Seat does not interfere with your ability to wet exit quickly before paddling with it. Only use it if you're fully confident in your wet exit.
