These vibration dampers/isolation mounts use EPDM grommets and galvanized steel stem washers. The isolation mounts are designed to hold the attached load even if the rubber degrades away completely. It is recommended to use three or four mounts in a triangle or square mounting pattern. Additional mounts can be used anywhere within the recommended pattern to increase load holding capacity or further dampen vibration. Use these mounts instead of conventional mounts in applications where failure of the mount can cause damage to equipment. Four mounts are included per order
- Durable EPDM Rubber
- Corrosion resistant galvanized steel stem washers
- 5/16" or M8 bolt size
- Installs in a 5/8" (16mm) hole in 0.075" - 0.135" (2mm - 3.5mm) sheet
- Prevents components from separating if the rubber fails
